The Dade County Board of Commissioners and City of Trenton Board of Commissioners signed an Intergovernmental Agreement on June 1, 2017, that clears a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for Transportation purposes to go before voters.

The Dade County Board of Commissioners will meet July 6, 2017, to officially call for the TSPLOST to be placed on the November 7 ballot.

The TSPLOST will be a one cent (1.00%) sales tax that will be used for the following purposes:

  • Congestion Relief
  • Bridges
  • Pedestrian / Bicycle Landscape
  • Streetscape
  • Quick Response Projects
  • Operations and Safety
