Governor Brian Kemp has set March 10th as the date for a special election to fill the vacant 14th Congressional District seat, following the resignation of U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Green.

ADVANCED VOTING FEBRUARY 16 - MARCH 6: 
FEBRUARY 16, 2026 - FEBRUARY 21, 2026 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

FEBRUARY 23, 2026 - FEBRUARY 28, 2026 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
MARCH 2, 2026 - MARCH 6, 2026 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (ENDS ADVANCE / EARLY VOTING)
Advance / Early voting will be held at the Dade County Administration Building, Commission Room, 71 Case Avenue., Trenton, Ga 30752

DEADLINE to register to vote in the March 10, 2026 Special Elections is:
FEBRUARY 9, 2026
You may register to vote in person at the elections office, online, or at the Department of Driver Services.

Deadline to request absentee ballot for the March 10, 2026 Special Election is Friday, February 27, 2026. You may check your voter status, mail-in application, ballot status and more at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/ or contact the elections office to pick one up or we can mail the application to you.

*Remember if you don't vote early you must vote at your regular precinct on Election Day. All precincts/polls will be open 7AM-7PM on Election Day.

Poll Workers NeededQualifications of Poll Offices

  • 21-2-92
  • A Citizen of the United States
  • A resident of or employed by the county in which he or she is appointed (or in the case of municipal elections, a resident of the municipality in which the election is to be held or of the county in which that municipality is located or otherwise employed by the county of municipality)
  • 16 years of age or older
  • Able to read, write, and speak the English language
  • A poll officer may be allowed to serve in a county that adjoins the county in which such poll officer resides if, in the discretion of the election superintendent of the county in which such a person resides.
